Meet the Team

Gemma

Gemma – Foot Health Practitioner and Business Owner

I am the founder and owner of Faversham Feet having qualified as a Foot Health Practitioner in 2017. (Level 4 Diploma in Foot Health with the SMAE Institute)

I started the company as a sole trader on a domiciliary basis at the start of 2018 and have been steadily building the business into what it is today… An award winning, family run, foot health business with a team of staff and a limited company.

I’m proud of everything I have achieved but I couldn’t be where I am today without our amazing clients who put their trust in us to look after their feet.

Customer service is at the forefront of everything I do and to hear a client walk away from their appointment saying they feel like they’re ‘walking on air’ is what drives me to be the best foot health practitioner I can possibly be.

My previous background is in pharmacy and medication management which provides a great understanding in how medications and medical conditions can affect the feet and how we can best help you.

When I’m not looking after feet, I can often be found enjoying time at the shooting range or going to music gigs and theatre productions.

Laura

Laura – Foot Health Practitioner

Laura qualified as a Foot Health Practitioner in 2023 and has been working with me ever since. (Level 4 Diploma in Foot Health with the SMAE Institute)

Not only is she an excellent practitioner but she is also my much loved sister and we are like two peas in a pod! I’m so grateful to have her on board with me to help us grow and provide a wider and better service.

Laura is also qualified to provide Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage and Manual Lymphatic Drainage which she has incorporated into our services both as standalone treatments and also with a new never-been-seen-before service, the Foot Medi-Massage. This is a lovely treatment combining foot health and lower limb massage for an extra added bit of luxury.

Laura previously worked within the NHS ensuring that patients with long-term conditions were receiving all the care they should be to manage those conditions. This gives her an excellent understanding of the often complex requirements of those patients and she brings that knowledge with her to the foot clinic.

When Laura isn’t looking after feet she is usually found with me as my gigging and theatre buddy or cosying up at home with her two cats and her adorable Shih-Zhu.

Kat

Katherine – Reception and Foot Health Practitioner in Training

Katherine is my extremely bouncy and ever-entertaining step-daughter.

She joined us on reception in 2023 when we opened our new clinic and has now begun the journey to train as a Foot Health Practitioner with an aim to qualify in late 2025.

Having known Katherine from the age of 4, I’ve had the pleasure to watch her grow into the woman she has become and she never fails to make me smile with her infectious energy and life she brings to our clinic.

Her previous roles in waitressing and bartending have provided her with great customer service and she loves nothing more than to chat with our clients and provide them with coffee. She has a particular fondness for our most elderly clients and will always go out of her way to help them and make them comfortable.

Her favourite thing in the world is her adorable French Bulldog that she lovingly refers to as her child. She is a social butterfly who loves to be around people.
